  • What makes the Lions different?
・2 practices a week, working directly with your team and coaches. ・Heavy focus on player development and preparation for high school and college baseball. ・In-season practices. Over the years one of the biggest complaints we've heard is that practices stop as soon as the season starts. With the Lions, we practice all year long. ・All head coaches are experienced, successful mentors who share the same visions and goals that I do. No parent head coaches. ・Better competition. All of the teams will be tested by playing in better laegues and tournaments. ・Personal college recruiters come with the Lions membership. Having the right people in your son's corner to help fulfill his college baseball aspirations. ・Extended seasons and more games than 90% of other clubs...more baseball!
  • What's included?
Lions players will receive the following: ・Practice shirt and hat ・2 Game jerseys ・Team sweatshirt ・Game hat ・Game socks ・Cleats ・Helmet ・Wooden bat ・Lions equipment bag
  • What does the practice schedule look like?
Lions players will practice with their teams and coaches twice a week from December to April. Lions teams will also have practices during the year once a week, to ensure team cohesity and personal skills are still improving. The exact practice schedule days and times will be released after teams are selected.
  • What does the season look like?
・Lions teams age 9u and 10u will play a full season of league play with possible playoffs, 3 tournaments, and 4-8 non-league games. ・11u, 12u and 13u will play a full season of league play, a minimum of 5 tournaments with 4-8 non-league games ・Northeast Lions teams from 9u to 13u will begin in April and run until July. ・14u will play a full seaon of league play with possible playoffs, 7 tournaments, and 4-8 non-league games. 14u will go from April to August, an extended season that allows teams to play together through the summer.
  • What about college recruiting?
Over the past couple of years, Lions staff have worked closely with our high school athletes and helped them fulfill their dreams of playing college baseball. Our plan is to continue to do so, as we have been building relationships with college coaches all over the Northeast. We have proudly helped our athletes receive offers and commitments from the following schools: ・UMass Amherst ・UMass Lowell ・Bentley ・Assumption ・WPI ・Johnson & Wales ・Wentworth ・Curry College ・Eastern Nazarene ・AIC ・St. Xaviers (Chicago) ・Salem Universtiy (West Virginia) ...and more College recruiting service is included in the Lions package for players 15u and up. Our process starts with a meeting with our kids and their parents, they then fill out a questionnaire so we can learn more about their grades and abilites so we can help set attainable goals. In the next step, we make a 3-4 minute recruiting video for them. We then send that video to schools they have interest in, and act as a vessel of communication between the college coaches, the player, and their families. We started this process last year and it has been very successful. I'm super excited to bring it to the next level with the Northeast Lions.
